T-shirt designs

Okay, I have four T-shirt designs I just cooked up. They're not officially on Cafe Press yet The I [RO] NY, Sexier In Semaphore, and Kiss Me / I'm Leprous designs are now on sale at Cafe Press! I just wanted to get an overall sense of what people like or don't like first, as well as preferred sizing etc. Let me know if you'd like to purchase Acrimony & Cheez or I'm Leprous as well. Here they are:

  1. While I'm no designer, I'd say that the cream of the crop (which, therefore, rises to the top...) are number's B and D. And while I've never considered semaphore's sexy before, I think I'd like to start.

Additionally, while the effects of leprosy are pretty foul, I gotta say the reference is never not funny.

    Word.

  2. No designer, huh? Nice try.

    Semaphore is always sexy.

And if leprosy references are never not funny, does that mean they're always funny? ::scratches head::

See you in the land of floppy clocks tomorrow....

  3. The land of floppy clocks, eh? If nothing else, that should appear on a shirt. You'd sell millions. And i'd be the first in line.

  4. Wow, my first official request! I'm flying out tomorrow to NJ to see my parents for the holidays, but as soon as things settle down, jetlag-wise, I'll unleash the first two designs (I [RO] NY and It's Sexier In Semaphore) to Cafe Press. In other words, I'll try to have the designs available in purchasable, T-shirt format by Wednesday, barring computer glitches and what-have-you.

Thanks so much for your interest!

  5. I think the perlosy...or lopersly, er leprosy would be 9+1 x funnier with a stay lip hanging out at the bottom.

  6. Before I present my opinion, I would like to say that just because Jason Mraz is wearing that particular shirt, it doesn't make the shirt any better or worse.

I like Jason Mraz's idea better because his t-shirt strikes you with a confused look and it makes you look twice. The I RO NY shirt you designed bares too much resemblance to the original I <3 NY and it also forces viewers to read the word in a broken up format with 2 lines rather than Jason Mraz I RO NY sends a more complete message because of the one line. If you would reconsider changing it to the one line then I would purchase the t shirt immediately :).

But I would think you would have some legal issues copying Mraz's idea, so I doubt you can fulfill my request.
